If I had to describe Amy and Yong’s wedding in two words, it would be this: dreamy and everlasting. Their love is gentle, kind, and independent from one another, yet complimenting and courageously devoted. They speak less with words and more with their emotions, which I can easily translate in every photo. Their friends and family were there in unanimous support and unwavering selflessness. I witnessed pure love and joy.

When Amy first reached out to me and shared our first phone conversation, I could tell she was going to be a breeze to work with. Her simplicity, casualness, and elegance allowed me to gracefully transform the photos into a real life fantasy.

We met in person for coffee as we got to discuss all the little details and her dream vision. She told me she wanted it to be very minimal- white and black with neutral toned florals and that her day would be non-traditional as we combined the ceremony and reception into one sitting, leaving room for me to capture all the photos of just them two. I fell in love right then and there as I could envision it perfectly.

Amy + Yong, thank you for sharing your time with me and investing in me to capture your special day as I remembered it, and hopefully, as you imagined it all to be. Thank you for allowing me to celebrate with you, feel all the emotions with you, and of course, hype you up after every perfect shot as you two worked your magic in front of my camera. You delivered the dreamiest vibes with a touch of mood and a handful of intimacy. I couldn’t thank you enough. Their wedding was short and sweet, filled with intimate moments and the prettiest florals. They both allowed me to be myself, express my creativity, and share my vision and plan out the shots. All the while, trusting in me and being fully present for each other the entire day. Of course, magic happened and through our conversations, I grew to love them in entirety. From their gentle love, their stylish aesthetics, to their vulnerability + trust that they exemplified. If I could describe an ideal couple, it would be them.
